Promedica24, Europe’s largest provider of live-in care services, has increased pay for its care personnel by up to 33% as part of £2m+ investment in the workforce.
The company, which provide tailored live-in care services to people in the comfort of their own homes, has also outlined plans for new reward, wellbeing and performance programmes for the workforce.
The company is hiring for 2000 roles across the UK, including frontline carers and operational staff. In addition to offering a market-leading salary, bespoke training, continuity of work, support managers, and attractive benefits, Promedica24 plans to create a professional development pathway and strengthen the wellbeing support offered to staff. The £2m+ investment reflects Promedica24’s commitment to creating new and exciting career opportunities across the UK and equipping people with the skills, training and experience they need for a fulfilling career in care.
Part of the investment has been put towards developing award-winning training courses that staff can access through a virtual learning platform. Promedica24 has partnered with the Skills Network to offer employees innovative educational resources in team leading, falls prevention, end-of-life care, and safe handling of medication, so they can continue to provide exceptional care and support.
Grzegorz Wrzosek, Recruitment Director at Promedica24, commented:
“Care personnel are a skilled and vital workforce who deserve to be recognised and rewarded fairly for the life-changing work they do. As a respected employer in the sector, we are investing heavily in recruitment, training and development to future-proof our workforce. The £2m+ in funding will enable us to pay our care teams a market-leading rate and offer them innovative training and support to further their professional development.
“Promedica24 is on the lookout for kind and compassionate people with a passion for caring. Having experience in social care is beneficial, however, our comprehensive training programmes supported by a virtual training platform and experienced coaching teams will enable people to develop the skills and knowledge they need for a fulfilling career in care.
“We have roles available in all regions across the UK – simply fill out an application on our website and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.”
Katarzyna Twardowska, Executive Director at Promedica24, said:
“Care personnel are a lifeline for many families across the UK, making a difference in people’s lives every day. Having worked tirelessly for the last 18 months, protecting our clients from the virus, and ensuring they’re comfortable and safe, we wanted to show how much we value and appreciate their work.
“In addition to increasing pay and investing in our workforce, we are looking at how we can inspire the next generation to consider a career in the sector. Promedica24 will be working closely with educational institutions and job centres up and down the country, highlighting the opportunities and rewarding nature of a job in adult social care to ensure families can access the care and support they deserve.”
Promedica24 provides live-in companionship and care services to adults across the UK, enabling people to live independently, safely and well in the comfort of their own homes. Carers live with the individuals they support, providing personalised care and assistance as a genuine alternative to moving into a residential care home.
