Our Care Workers are part of the Promedica24 family and we take care of them as such. The work they do is challenging, emotional, and extremely important, making a difference to people’s lives every single day. Their happiness and well-being are crucial and we have a comprehensive support structure in place to support them.
When Care Workers are ‘off-contract’ and at home, they receive the same care and attention from us:
We run Care Worker days including picnics and sailing days.
We organise craft and cookery courses.
Friends and family are encouraged to be involved in all activities.
Happy Care Workers make great carers, and great carers are what makes Promedica24 so special.

I choose to work in the care sector because I meet lots of amazing people all the time, from the people we support to other like-minded colleagues who genuinely care.
Working for Promedica24 has given me the opportunity to really make a difference to people who prefer to stay in their own homes, at a time in their lives when they feel a little more vulnerable.
I am glad to care because the rewards of building a relationship with a person who needs support and watching them grow in confidence and skills, is priceless and the rewards far outweigh working in any other job.
Witnessing the positive impact of my care and support on individuals who prefer to stay in the comfort of their own homes is truly rewarding. Being able to foster a strong bond and trust with those in need, witnessing their personal growth, increased independence, and enhanced skills brings immeasurable joy. It’s a privilege to make a difference in someone’s life and contribute to their well-being and happiness.
I started working in care over 15 years ago. My son was two and half at the time and I needed a job that would fit around being his mum. I started as a Care Support Worker and quickly found that I really enjoyed being part of a care team.

Care is where my heart lies, and being able to be a part of a fantastic care company in a leadership role is a challenge I am looking forward to, and one where I will give my very best. I will uphold our values, and work hard with my colleagues to ensure we deliver the best possible person centred care.
