Happy birthday, Dorothy!
Last weekend, a hundred people came together to help Dorothy celebrate her 100th birthday in her local church, sharing memories over afternoon tea.
Here’s what her family said of the weekend:
“Dorothy was honoured to receive a royal greeting and also amused to open a card showing her, apparently on a motorbike, with her favourite TV personalities – “The Hairy Bikers!”
On her Birthday, the following day, 20 family members shared a lovely meal together and Dorothy took great pleasure reading the kind messages in the many birthday cards received. What a weekend it was – anyone would have thought Dorothy had reached a milestone event in her life!”
