At Promedica24, we understand the critical importance of selecting the right carers to ensure that our clients receive the level of care we would want for our own family members. Central to this commitment is our unwavering dedication to investing in our carers and providing them with the support they need to excel in their roles.
Recruitment Process Excellence
Our recruitment process is meticulously designed to identify positive personality traits and ensure alignment with our core values. We prioritise candidates who demonstrate genuine compassion and empathy, qualities essential for delivering the dignity and respect our clients deserve. While we welcome applicants with medical backgrounds, our selection criteria prioritise character over qualifications. Without the essential traits of a Promedica24 carer, applicants, regardless of credentials, may not progress through our process.
Mandatory Learning and Ongoing Development
We believe in setting a robust foundation through regulatory learning requirements to maintain consistent standards across the Promedica24 network. Our comprehensive induction covers diverse aspects of care and safety, tailored to the unique needs of each client. From first aid to cultural competency, we ensure our carers are equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
Additionally, we provide extensive on-the-job learning, including manual handling sessions conducted in the client’s home environment. This personalised approach ensures that our carers fully understand and cater to the specific needs of the individuals they support.
Person-Centred Care
During the initial introduction period, our focus is on understanding and addressing the individual needs of both the client and the new recruit. Our qualified Care Managers conduct thorough assessments and develop bespoke induction plans tailored to each caregiver-client pairing. As certified instructors and primary points of contact, our Care Managers guide new recruits through the intricacies of their roles, fostering a collaborative environment that involves the client in the care planning process.
Specialist Skills and Ongoing Support
Recognising that care needs evolve over time, we provide access to a range of skills and learning courses to enhance our carers’ knowledge and capabilities. Our ethos centres on empowering carers with the skills necessary to provide personalised care tailored to the unique requirements of each individual.
Distinguishing Ourselves Through Person-Centred Care
At Promedica24, we take great pride in our commitment to person-centred care, a philosophy that sets us apart from the competition.
If you’d like to know more about how we work, or if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us. We’ll be only too happy to learn a little more about your situation and talk you through everything you need to know.
