On the 23rd September our wonderful client Bunty celebrated her 104th birthday with her family and friends.
Bunty has had live in carers from Promedica24 since August 2021 and her carer Kasia helped Bunty and her family celebrate this milestone birthday with two days of celebratory meals and parties.
We asked Bunty her secrets to turning 104, she said “Eat well, drink well and be well”.
Kasia, Bunty’s care worker, baked this gorgeous looking chocolate and walnut cake for everyone to enjoy.
Congratulations from all at Promedica24 to Bunty on this amazing birthday celebration.
It’s being sent wonderful stories like this from our care workers that reminds us there really is no place like home; the familiarity, the routine and the memories are just some of the things that bring people comfort when being cared for at home.
If the time comes and you think that you require full time care, quite often a care home is the first thing that springs to mind, however this is not the only option and by choosing a live in carer from Promedica24 you get to stay in your own home with the level of support you need.
A specialist care provider will move into your home full time, to support you with domestic tasks, shopping, personal care, managing your medication and many other day to day tasks. Having a carer move in with you also means you can continue with your routine, whether that’s meeting friends for coffee and cake on a Tuesday morning or a regular hair appointment.
