Rish marks his 60th year by completing a triathlon and raising vital funds for the free family carer support organisation
Promedica24, Europe’s leading live-in care provider, is proud to announce that Rish Amod, Care Consultant and Partner at Promedica24 covering Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire, has successfully completed the Blenheim Palace Triathlon, raising awareness and fundraising for Carents, the organisation dedicated to supporting adult children who care for ageing parents.
The challenge, taken on to mark his 60th birthday, is driven by the same empathy and commitment that define Rish’s work as a Care Consultant, and his genuine understanding of what families go through when a parent needs care.

Supporting the People Behind the Care
At Promedica24, we know that the person receiving care is rarely the only one who needs support. Behind almost every client is a family member managing the practical side of things: booking appointments, picking up prescriptions, doing the shopping, navigating the healthcare system, all while trying to remain present for their loved one.
Carents was built for those people. It offers free guides, practical information, and a community for adult children caring for ageing parents. Rish’s fundraiser directly supports Carents’ ability to continue providing this vital, free resource.

“Completing this triathlon means a great deal to me, but what matters more is what it stands for. Every day I work with families who are navigating one of the hardest seasons of their lives, and Carents is exactly the kind of resource they deserve. I’m proud to have raised money for an organisation that genuinely understands what family carers go through. I hope this inspires more people to discover the support that’s available to them.”
— Rish Amod, Care Consultant and Partner, Promedica24 Berkshire & South Buckinghamshire
The triathlon, held at Blenheim Palace, is a serious multi-discipline endurance event. Completing it at 60 is no small feat, and reflects the same resilience Rish sees in the families he supports every day.
