Promedica24 Rated “Good” at CQC Inspection

Promedica24, Europe’s largest live-in care provider, has received an overall rating of “Good” in a recent inspection conducted by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The body recognised Promedica24’s commitment to providing safe, high-quality care to older people, individuals with dementia, and those with physical disabilities.
The assessment highlighted Promedica24’s robust safeguarding measures, thorough risk assessments, and adherence to infection prevention and control protocols. It praised employees for their caring and respectful approach, while the management team fostered a transparent and responsive environment.
Feedback further empathised the exceptional care provided by Promedica24. One family member said, “We fully trust Promedica24 to place the right carers with my relative. There is a very informative profile of the carers that we get to see before they come.”
“Respectful and caring”
The live-in carers were highly regarded for their excellence and dedication. As one service user shared, “The carers are excellent. I have got very used to them living in my house, they are very respectful and caring.” Another praised their carers for being “very helpful, very nice, and knowledgeable about what they do,” calling their presence “very reassuring”. A third added, “They don’t rush me and they ask for consent before doing anything.”.
The report states:
“People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests; the policies and systems in the service supported this practice.”
“Continuous improvement”
Promedica24 demonstrated effective management and a commitment to continuous improvement. The service actively sought feedback and engaged in partnership working to meet evolving care needs.
