Types of Home Care We Provide

Visiting (domiciliary) care
Little-and-often help at home from as little as 30–60 minutes per visit. Ideal for medication prompts, meals and personal care when full-time support isn’t needed.

24/7 live-in home care
A dedicated, one-to-one carer lives with you, providing day and night support, continuity and peace of mind. Often a cost-effective alternative to a care home.

Overnight care (sleeping or waking nights)
Night-time reassurance. Sleeping nights: carer rests, helps if needed. Waking nights: carer stays awake throughout for constant support.

Real Stories From Our Clients

First time with a home carer. The interview with me was relaxed and wih 2 different personnel to find exactly my needs 24/7. Very good outcome for myself and carer really patient and understanding with my husband who has dementia. So far a very good result with an experienced handler able to suggest ways to make life easier.

Promedica24 enabled our dad to remain at home in his last days, which was his strong preference. When we first contacted Promedica, they immediately provided very full and helpful information. Most important of all, all four carers who looked after our dad were very caring and great communicators.

We've had a variety of carers looking after Mum (who has dementia) for the last couple of years. There have been a couple who haven't quite 'got the hang' of her but Mum's main long term carer is, in my sister in law's words, 'worth her weight in platinum, never mind gold!'. She's kind, caring, compassionate, patient, the list goes on. She doesn't take any nonsense from Mum and always persuades her to do the things she needs her to do. She's a very easy person to have around the home and fits in with everyone around and most importantly is always flexible. We just can't recommend her highly enough.

Our carer for my father was just an angel, who arrived at the time in which my father's vascular dementia started to deteriorate further. Her patience and care and positive up upbeat attitude was just what he needed to keep him going. I am happy with the communication and prompt attention we get from Promedica on all administrative matters too, they are very efficient. But the main priority is of course having the right carer look after your family member and I feel Promedica have done a good job of assessing my father's needs and making an appropriate placement. We just wish the carer could have stayed longer!
